About

French born, I have lived and worked in the UK for longer than I have lived in France.

A budding interest in wine, developed while running a Nicolas shop in Paris as a summer job, led to a thirty year career in the wine business.

My latest role before setting up my own business was MD of an agency for international marketing, promotions, press and public relations specialising in food and wine. I have also held a number of general management, sales and marketing positions for various wine producers.

I now work as a freelance taster, wine marketing and communications specialist and lecturer on the business of wine.

I passed my WSET Diploma in 1999 and was made a Knight of the Order of Agricultural Merit – France’s highest accolade in the area of agriculture – in November 2016.

I took a sabbatical in 2008/2009 to study towards an MA in Creative Writing at Kingston University. And I started writing.

Because what I’ve always wanted to be is a writer.
